I would not be giving Malkin that deal. Already in cap hell next year, that just makes it worse

It's beyond me how anyone could even suggest playing Gauth on the 1st line, when we have Panarin, Kreider, Lafreniere, Kravtsov, Chytil, Blais, Goodrow, and even Othmann, plus the rights to resign Kakko, and the possibility of extending Vatrano, Copp, or Strome, all of whom are significantly better options for that spot.


This is also a 20 man roster which is 200K under the cap, it doesn't work.

Don't look at lines much, i don't know your players.. I guarantee malkin gets that on item market and they could flip all the other pieces for picks and prospects..

I think it's fun playing with all the rosters, honestly it's a rumor i read about and the rangers do need a 2nd line center with Strome unsigned.

Who do you think fills that spot? They're close to winning, a couple big free agents and I think the division/cup is yours.

Chytil most likely, he seems to be ready. The only other options I can see would be a trade for J.T. Miller or Mark Scheifele, or finding someone at the TDL. Malkin is a non-option with our cap situation.

So would Scheifele and jt then, no? I could see malkin asking for more for sure but, they need to make room for an upgrade or just resign strome.
