Description

Based on recent rumors. Heard they have discussed Giroux and Kessel. I know they have a desire to bring Kane back, and I think if they came to a settlement with Kane's team and SJ they could get a similar deal like this one done. I don't think paying Kane $7M over the next 3 years would set up for much flexibility

I could see your thoughts there, however I can't see Kenny wanting to give Husso more than $4M... Could see him signing Campbell for $5M as he has a larger resume.

50% salary is 10.5m over 3 years, but that's a pretty good return. Sharks probably say yes, especially if it lets us finally move on from Kane.

This. I dont understand how ppl think they are getting a bargain on UFAs especially in Edmonton

UFAs are always overpaid on day 1-2, notably the top UFAs

You can get the secondary UFAs for cheap.

Husso and Campbell will be overpaid considerably
