Spooner, Miller, Vatrano are all expendable. Weak draft year in 2017. The only "mortgaging" would be loosing Zboril, Gabrielle and the 2018 1st round pick. However losing the pick in 2018 isn't horrible since they will perform well and that pick will be late in the round.

Imagine losing all our good young players because of Ovi's contract hit.

I'm sorry, I just don't moving a ton of prospects/picks to add an $8 million winger that has never gotten his team to even the Eastern Conference Finals. Not only that, but his PPG has dropped for 3 straight years. So here is what we have....

- Handcuffing Cap Hit
- Superstar that's never gotten his team to the ECF
- A slew of young talent going out
- A solid chance we can't re-sign a McAvoy/Carlo/JFK when they all come up as RFA's

Now if We could get Ovie at say $6 million or $4 million then we're talking.
