CHI isn't going to do this. A whole lotto nothing for the CAT and one of the younger dmen and a #3. I read CHI is asking for 2 #1's, top prospect and another player for the CAT alone.

Well, they are getting 2 #1's and a top organizational prospect. Kerfoot is a servicable NHL player that can help provide leadership if Kane / Toews are traded. But the miss here is it's missing a payment for the Mrazek cap dump. Anderson is just a toss in. The other pieces coming back from CHI also haven't been paid for.

That being said, if it was just DeBrincat, I would expect some retention with that much future going out

I heard something like that too, but they definitely won't get it. Very good player though but his numbers could be slightly inflated because of his lineages.
