Description

Jack Studnicka doesn't look like a long-term answer down the middle, I would love to see them explore what they could bring in for him. I don't expect it to be much but I like Zadina's upside a lot and both players could benefit from a change of scenery. Would love to hear what Detroit fans think about this trade I don't really think he fills a need for them but I like Zadina so I made the trade anyways. The injuries to Mcavoy and Marchand open up some cap space until they are back and I could see Foligno being moved down to providence to save cap before the season (if he reports or not is a different story)

No thanks Jack Studnicka is nothing more than a bottom 6 C/RW plus 2 late picks. Yeah we will just keep Zadina for that.

I don't think that moves the needle for Detroit. It's just not enough upside coming back to give up Zadina's upside. Studnicka seems more like nice AHL depth than anything and the picks are mid rounders that would take year to have any impact and have a low chance of any impact.
