Problem is it solves one problem and creates two more problems for Wings. They have a ton of LHD prospects and very few RHD in the system and even fewer scoring wingers with NHL experience.

Friedman has NJ among the teams inquiring about Bertuzzi. But it also might be Fitz and the scouting department ordering pizza from Bertucci's Italian Restaurant and this whole thing being a funny coincidence.

Detroit is still a rebuilding team and rebuilding teams don't trade four assets to get one. Those kind of trades are what cup contenders do.
