Not sure on value, Pittsburgh fans please comment...

The deal could include futures, a roster player like Compher, and/or UFA rights for Kadri/Kuemper/Manson (I've seen Pitt AGM's with Kadri and Manson signings).

Some TML fans on hfboards have said they'd trade him for a 5th as they need capspace.

    that stuff happens pretty regularly.

Feel free to provide examples of a team that is trying to compete deciding to trade away their cheap 2 time all star goalie firmly in his prime for futures and scraps.

Look these are my two favorite teams. I'm from Pittsburgh but I've been to many games in Pepsi center (none since it changed to ball arena.....dang covid). I am not being biased here. As long as the pens have Crosby they are trying to compete. The new team ownership has said this many times. They just re signed rust to a huge deal.
They aren't giving up jarry for futures lol.

As a fan of both teams I truly hope they end up sending Crosby to Colorado at the end of his career so sid and Mack can win a cup together.

avs can't be a favorite team of yours if you're suggesting newhook/byram for jarry. you would know how lopsided that is.

    Okay pal.
When you provide an example of a team that is trying to compete making a trade like OP suggested then I'll continue this argument. Otherwise it just shows how biased you are being and how much of a waste of time this debate is lmao.

I see holl getting an early 4th tbh but, management seems to like him so they might let him choose if there are a couple teams saying they want him

When the cancucks did it they got 9th overall. Next time they did it they got markstrom in return.
Pens, Vegas, and Carolina all did different trades when they had better and/ or cheaper options available already.
