Description

If there’s one thing the Habs have a lot of, it’s prospect depth. They are perhaps even the best team in the league right now in terms of quantity of prospects who project to make the NHL. However, they severely lack in the quality department. Additionally, our abundance of prospects who could one day fight for a roster spot makes having a multitude of draft picks redundant, as we can’t sign everyone due to the 50 player contract limit. Therefore, I firmly believe we should go for quality instead of quantity and go for high upside picks… and that’s what I think Hughes will want to do.

For the record, I think the Islanders would be stupid to do this. I’m solely basing this off a credible rumour. Per NRD, Lou Lamoriello is really interested in Josh Anderson to the point that he’s be willing to part ways with Pick 13 to get him, which is why I have this trade here.

The Oilers only have one pick in the top 100. Given Holland’s recent history of going for depth over home run picks by trading down to maximize his shots on the draft board, it is fair to assume that he might want to trade down again.

I'd do that andy deal if i were the habs in an instant. He's been fine but if they are indeed drafting Juraj, which seems more and more likely with each passing day, he's not really needed anymore

We aren't and shouldn't be drafting Juraf, it's all just for clicks lmao
