Seems about right. Swap 75% of Kuemper's salary for Subban and the left overs go to like wedgewood or something. I dont think they'll drop 6.5 mil on a goalie. They'll also probably buyout bjork.

I don't see any point in buying out Bjork with the cap space they have now. They will need that cap space next year and the following to sign the dozen RFAs that will be needing raises in coming seasons. Might as well just pay him now and get it over with.

There's no real "hockey" reason to buy him out. They're going to do it cause they dont want to pay 1.6 mil for a guy to not play games for them. Buyout is 100k, sign a depth guy for 750k, save around 850k in salary. Might be enough for them to finally send their broadcast crew to away games.

Remember that the broadcast crew is likely to be very different this year without RJ.

yeah i know, still wouldnt kill them to shell out a few bucks for them to actually be at the road games.
