This isn't fanboy glasses, you walnut. This is reality. A team that just signed its heart-and-soul captain to a four year extension isn't going to trade him right as it kicks in. That's not how the league works. Everyone in a vacuum is tradeable, sure, but sometimes players mean more to their teams than numbers on a spreadsheet.
