Honest evaluation of Sandin (who you are not even trading, you're trading his rights) probably isnt enough and while Kerfoot had a great year, his first good one in TOR, his UFA to be status doesn;t help, but I just dont think NASH wants the rest of that package. Nylander for Jeannot and a 1st isn’t a bad shout, I just don’t think NASH has interest in the rest. (Dont get me wrong, Kerfoot has some value, but hes been a disappointment in TOR until this year, and hes one of the first guys in every trade proposal)

And I don’t think Kase’s rights get a 4th back, especially a high round one. Accomplishment of playing 50 games was good, but finished just as his last 4 seasons before that, a major worry, and one hit from retirement. Leafs got him for 1.25mil as bargain because of his injury history, which even after 50 games, is still a huge worry, and again, you’re not trading a 1.25mil/50 games/27 pts guy, you’re trading his arbitration rights, so no one will give up more than a 6th for a guy who might want 1.75mil or more, just to see him have to retire after his next hit

No money to resign Jeannot or Bunting next year?

Please stop trading for Jeannot.
He is the face of the current Preds identity and not available.
