Brannstrom has no value. In a best case scenario, maybe a 3rd round pick. There is always a trend with these undersized young puck moving defenseman who are top prospects. Where once they bust, it takes the internet 2-3 extra years to realize it. They keep getting thrown into big trade offers on message boards, with fans of the team hoping that no one realizes they stink. Call it the Julius Honka effect.

Konecny also has a 2M signing bonus this season. So, you know the Flyers paying that would be part of the trade. Which gives even more value for Ottawa.

Brannstrom was traded for freaking Stone. Still has potential to grow. Also Konecny had 52 points this season not a career high.

The Flyers are not trading Konecny and Sanheim two of their prominent trade pieces and getting garbage in return. Brannstorm can't crack the NHL, 2nd and 3rds are probably @10% of making the NHL and Trocheck can be had after July for nothing. Konency actually has made the NHL and has had some very good years.
