Petry is gonna be traded for a pick and prospect not for a player we have no use for

I think JVR could be useful for Mtl: 1) that allow Caufield to return to rw while still having a power forward on the 1st line. 2) JVR term ends at the end of next season, while Petry has still three more years.
3) Having the power forward on the 1st line allow Anderson to go to the second line with likely Wright, so the protect and help him like a big brother.

Plus with the season he got his value is low I wouldn't expect a big return, maybe a low second and B-type prospect.

He didn't have a bad season though, he had a rough first half and then was back to his normal self. Also think they want Bedard next year so bringing in a vet to help doesn't really end up helping in the end.

I like the team, I think it's realistic, good job !

I would put Armia in instead of Byron and Poehling instead of Pezzetta.

Also, if Price is on LTIR, I think Hughes will trade Allen to a contender team for picks (ex : Oilers) and use that pick to get a younger goalie (as Georgiev or Samsonov or Husso).

I think Allen gets traded at tradeline to a team like Edmonton. Montembeault did a pretty good job and I think they want Primeau in Laval for one more season before being called. I think they still view Primeau as Price remplacement and putting someone like Geoŕgiev or Samsonov won't Primeau a chance to become the starter.
