Although I think this would be the right move for ANA if they want to get better quicker, I don't see them pulling the trigger on this.

I think so too. KD will sign at least 1 UFA goalie and trade for another. I could see the Hawks signing a veteran forward to a 1 year deal to flip at the deadline.

I sure hope so. I absolutely want him to maximize returns and not make any brash decisions, but I also don't want him to play it so close to his chest that CHI misses out on something helpful and players end up just walking for nothing. I hope he doesn't think he can just do it all on his own through drafting with the picks we already have and development alone. I mean... it would be interesting if he could pull that off, but it is HIGHLY unlikely.
