Much rather have Garland and Myers

I'd rather keep Myers and Garland, and also I desperately hope the Canucks don't sign Nichushkin or Burakovsky for the deals people are signing them to.

Colorado inflates peoples scoring IMO. Donskoi had 31 in 51 with Col in 2020-21, and then 22 in 75 with Seattle.

I think it is wayyyyy too risky to sign middle 6 guys from Colorado who have had breakout seasons to massive contracts, because I think there's a huge risk they regress to normal 3rd liners. Is he the 60-65 pt player he was in Colorado, or the 30 pt player he was in Washington? If it ends of being the latter, that is a crushing contract.

Garland is the best player in the deal but this saves the Canucks 2.5 million in space plus lands them a decent 3 C and a high upside defender.

Imo worth it based on the Canucks needs

Doesn’t have to be burakovsky. There’s 10 or 11 UFA wingers the Canucks could target to “replace” miller (not actually replace his value or points but fill a spot on the stop 6 and fill it well)
