I think it is time to follow the Kings Model

Description
The Kings have been able to rebuild their time while also holding onto veterans who have become legends like Quick, Doughty, Kopitar, and Brown. I think we have to look at starting to go down a similar road. Sid and Jake are the our two best players now. For me getting Tanger back is a must and having money to resign Jarry is another must. I am not a fan of chasing big name wingers as UFAs. I think we need to replace Malkin with Trochek but beyond that we need to start giving young guys a chance to play.

Keep Carter for the leadership aspect, and do not sign lazar.

If you are going for the "let the kids play" mentality, you should try and fit O'connor and even Poulin in aswell.

Carter is not a "must trade guy" but I think the extension he was given was a mistake. A team with Sid and Tanger is not going to lack leadership. Trochek is also a great character and locker room guy. I just want to see Teddy bump up to that 3rd line role soon.

I would absolutely love Trochek. I love Teddy too, I just really hope he is ready.
