Like i said in the other post, Schneider and 2023 1st is way enough for Miller.

Lafreniere alone is worth more than Miller.

If the Rangers lose 4 games in a row 10-0 to Pitt, they still don't consider this trade. No GM would trade two 20 year old studs and a 1st round pick for 1 year of any player. If they did, they would be fired on the spot for incompetence.

There is 0% chance the Rangers trade Schneider at all, let alone for 1 year of JT Miller. Canuck fans are allowed to dream, and this is just that.

What I've learned is that the NYR value Schneider very highly. This is by far the most lopsided trade proposal for Miller that I've seen. I love JT but a middle 6 roster player, a first and an A RHD prospect is the max return we can hope for.

The "1 year of that player" is the worst argument ever. Any team trading for JT Miller this summer will want him to sign an extension immediatly after the trade.

There is this thing called the salary cap in the NHL and if you look at the Rangers salary cap moving forward, you would know they have no room to sign JT after next season. It's pretty simple math really. So, trading for JT means 1 year of JT for a team with cap issues like the Rangers. And no, they aren't going to trade Trouba or Kreider or Mika (all have NMC's anyway) to then try to sign and overpay for a 31 year old Miller. Bottom line is Rangers are not trading for Miller and they are not trading Schneider or Lafreniere to anyone anyway. Canuck fans can keep dreaming though.
