I'd guess between 2-2.5mil for 2 years. He's young and has lots of speed, so if a team really needs a winger they might be willing to go 3mil. The production just isn't there so I can't imagine a team taking too much of a chance on him.

Grossly overpaying to move Zucker (who Pens management likes and has no intention of moving), overpaying to move McGinn for no reason, massively underselling Kapanen, then grossly overpaying for Nichushkin.

We don't need Kapanen, Would rather just bring up Jonatan Berggren who has nearly 60 points on a crap Griffins team.

I see Kapanen as a potential replacement for Fabbri, not as a competitor with Berggren.

Kasperi scores at almost the same rate as Robby this year (and way better than him previous years) while at the same time being way better defensively. Kapanen would be #2 in takeaways in Detroit (beaten only by Suter) with 2.5 times as many takeaways as Fabbri etc.

A 4th round pick is an absolute steal and too good to say no to.
