Unless Ellis retires or his injury is really bad, i highly doubt the flyers are gonna trade for a defenseman, from what ive seen they want to run back Provorov-Ellis/Sanheim-Risto in their top 4. If any changes were made to our top 4 it would be Provy/Sanny moving to make way for York.

Trading Allison for a cap dump is and awful idea. JVR I don’t think is someone who would take nearly that much to dump as he still is a 20 goal player
