idk about this one chief. Garland & Dermott would be good additions of the Islanders, but I think Dufour will be signed & playing in Bridgeport in 6 months time. I don't see the Islanders trading him unless we just don't end up signing him because Lou.

You also have to remember, and this my theory. When a player comes over to the Islanders, their points for the season will go down around 25% because of how we play our game

Though Garland would be leaving the Canucks so it can't get much lower Figured Lou would be more focused on turning the team around next year than waiting on Dufour in this scenario.

i don’t really care about dufour, but considering that pick is probably 12-13 i think they can do better than garland if they choose to move it. garland imo is very similar to beauvillier. they need someone who moves the needle a bit more either defensively or up front and garland + dermott (while good pieces) are not that

Dallas isn't trading a top prospect for Myers, not with the struggles he's had over the last 2+ years.

I doubt the caps would be interested in giving up their best RHD prospect, protas who has a lot of potential and a first for Miller

The window is here and Miller with Oshie and McMichael or up with Backstrom would be a big add. The first would be late as well.
