Yeah with the Wilds current cap crunch coming up, it makes sense to trade for a $6.4mil Goaltender, First off that doesn't get John Gibson, And secondly with Jesper Wallstedt coming up soon a goalie with 5 more years makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

I mean if Mini wants to be competitive in the few next years they have to get something better than Talbot. I hope the organization isn't thinking they should bring Wallstedt in (a 19 years old goalie), and give him the pressure of being a no 1. Elite goaltenders usually fully developed by the age of 24-26 y-o so Gibson could a good bridge for him. Not saying the trade is particularly good tho.
