Sam Girard is the exact opposite of what the Blues need at LD right now. I would want Devon Toews but everyone does (haha). Schenn might be trade bait but he'd have to waive his NTC (not impossible) to a team that would need real help in that area and have a glut of LD. Probably a long shot that that's the piece going out to bring in help.

After a blistering start Husso has significantly come back down to earth. If I had to guess, I think he gets a 1 or 2 year deal, maybe like $2 million, something like that? His big contract is the one after next. Nobody would feel comfortable committing to him for 6 years. Much less at $5.75 per.

I don't know that anyone is taking Scandella for free right now. Blues may even need to give an asset to have a team take him for nothing. If a team out there would take Scandella's entire contract for a 3rd round pick in return, Army needs to sprint to the phone.
