Description

I really think this team has the chance to do something special in the playoffs. Is there a high chance we win the cup? No, but there isn't a high chance for any team. I think we have as good of a shot as any. One trade can make a huge difference and we saw that last night. Rakell adds so much depth and we are a much better team with him. Crosby Guentzel and Rodrigues on a line I think could be great and allow Rust to play with Rakell and Malkin. That would give us 4 great lines in the playoffs, with Kapanen playing great too. Regardless of whether we win the cup or not, I think we've got a great playoffs ahead.

Sullivan explained it after the game. Coming into pittsburgh on a red eye flight and not even getting a practice in, they didnt wanna throw him into the fire with top 6 minutes just yet. He said he anticipates moving rakell up as he learns the system.
