That's an awful Montreal trade. Drouin's injury history has made that an undesirable deal, Hammond would clear waivers, Wideman is a major downgrade on Bear. Doubt Carolina are taking calls from Quebec too

I do like the Braun deal though

I wonder if the habs and canes are gonna be civil between one another now that bergevin's gone ... that being said I don't think the habs trade Drouin until he's played for MSL . Also , he'll be a far easier sell next year when he'll be a rental

Braun is fine, Wideman isn't an NHLer.

Wideman has been very underrated for us. He’s a good 7th option for a playoff team. Bear on a top pairing is a problem.

Bear has been on the top pairing for a month... if you think that's a problem, stick to Montreal. He's been very good.

Wideman is not better than Bear, hell, he's not better than Chatfield. No need.
