I don't think that's enough for Chiarot. Yeah, sure, he's a 3rd pairing guy, but i think he's been a good 5th d-man who could maybe get Belesky AND a pick. that's just me though.

Agreed that a sweetener would be needed due to Beleskey contract, perhaps a 3rd or 4th would do it. I like Chiarot's size and B's could use another L shot to balance off pairs.

if you agree that it isn't enough for Chiarot why did you make this trade idea?

This is fantasy land and none of the trades are valid...most require some tweaking after feedback is provided...i.e., I'm a B's fan but a Jets fan may have different perspective. Obviously a good trade is good for both sides..After additional consideration I simply agreed that other compensation may be needed to actually entice Winnipeg. Skill for skill that trade is fair but due to Beleskey's contract a pick may be warranted.

Love how Kuraly was on almost no one roster, then he goes out scores a few playoff goals and everyone has him in the lineup. Not a huge fan of Hudler, but it's not a terrible signing

I think Hudler is a good fit simply because the Bruins don't have nearly enough skill in their bottom 6 usually and he's capable of sliding up to Krejci's wing.
Its funny how it worked with Kuraly, he gets his first goal then instantly became noticeable on every shift after. Same thing with Acciari who hadn't scored in his first 30 games (rough estimate) then starts scoring goals every 2 or 3 games. Its just wild to me that breaking that barrier of scoring your first can change your game completely.

Both Kuraly and Acciari play that north/south physical energy role and will be nice additions to the 4th line four years to come. B's will need to add a couple skilled vets on the wings till kids are ready but looking at McAvoy, Carlo, Acciari, and Kuraly makes me think that might be only 1-2 years away with the likes of Bjork, Debrusk, Heinen, and Senyshyn knocking on the door...the future is bright.
