As oppose to Murray maybe add in Compher than flip him to LA unless they know someone wants Murray. Considering what they paid for Manson who hasn't been that good for a few years now the price will be steep as Duchies said.

I wanted to avoid sending a roster player because I thought Sakic would not do that. He doesn’t usually like to disrupt the room. Then he sent Jost out, so my thinking was proven wrong - throwing Compher in makes the financials much easier and I don’t know that you have to put Landy on LTIR. The 3rd is for retention. I’m not sure the Flyers are going to get as much as they should given the NTC and that the other contender is probably Florida, who also aren’t going to want to give up too much. I could be wrong about that, of course, much as I was wrong about Jost.
