I agree lehkonen and chiarot can both fetch that price even more but were forgetting how good byram is because of his injuries

Like i said, without getting into the debate if he's woth the price or not the habs don't do this for an LHD no matter how talented he might be

MTL is rebuilding so there many positions to fill in. Won't trade multiple asset for one guys, event if the guys is good. Look at Edmonton they have 2 superstar but yet no deep playoffs run. MTL need alot of thing so will Byram good won't fill all what is need .

Trade alone Lehkonen and Chariot could bring more piece for future. Even I'm starting to ask myself can MTL really trade of Lehkonen. He's still young at 26 maybe keep him and when MTL will go for a playoff run in 3/4 years he will still be good.

Instead I'm starting to think trading guys like armia out before Lehkonen.

Byram is a truly special puck moving defenceman which the Habs do not have. Big issue is Byram has had repeated head injuries and I am worried that they could be career threatening.
