On a good team Mayfeild is a #4 which is all the Leafs need if Muzzin is operational come playoff time. Mayfeild being cheaper than Holl opens up other moves that can be persued, but yeah a first is a little steep but I wouldn't hate it either.

Mayfield isn't top 4 on the Islanders when they are fully healthy. And the Islanders aren't very good this year. Mayfield is overrated. He is a good fit in the Trotz dump and chase system. In the Leafs system he would struggle. He isn't very good at handling the puck
