Rangers need a 2nd line center for next year because Strome walks away this summer. And they can afford both this year because they have enough space. Could see this happen, but i don't know about the first round pick. The thing is, they only have 1 first round pick to trade this year, and they can add about 30M in salary. Not sure they throw their most valuable tradeable asset (the 1st round pick) for Dvorak. Rangers are gonna add as much as they can this year, and their tradeable assets are : 2022 first and 2nd round picks, Lundkvist, kravtsov and maybe Chytil.

Hajek is currently use a 5 to 7 defenseman on blue shirt team so is value is not that high, Ranger could send a second round pick and a third round.
