Description

I know CBJ fans aren’t gonna want to move him unless it’s an overpay but what is the ask for Laine?

Realistically he is a year away from UFA and his qualifying offer this offseason is 9 mil. Maybe he signs long term in Columbus, maybe not but for the sake of this exercise assume he won’t. I know there’s No guarantee he would sign long term in Philly either.

Is spending multiple pieces for a winger who seems determined to get to free agency really the best move for this team. I think Columbus moves him in a second if they get an offer like that.

Very good point. As long as Fletcher and Dave Scott are in charge it won’t matter. They’re hellbent on competing next year whether or not it affects the long term state of the team.

Yeah you're right, they'll do what they did last off season and add a couple pieces and hope things just work out and believe this is the season Hart turns into Patrick Roy
