Dumba only has 1 year left on contract and that drops his value. Also Guerin saying he loves Dumba doesn’t mean much, it’s a business and sometimes you have to make decisions that go against your personal feelings. Goligoski is gone after this year and Merrill will likely turn into 7th D some point between now and the end of his 3 year deal.
