Shaw was suspended 3 games in the preseason for boarding Connor Hobbs, was asked to go through sensitivity training for a homophobic slur during the playoffs last year, got a game for a slew foot this year. Guy isn't exactly a class act. Plays hard but I just wouldn't want that attitude in my locker room. I know he is trying to turn over a new leaf now, but his history is shocking
Not the best attitude, but definitely far from the worst......cough........cough....... Marchand.......cough....... Kadri......... cough.......LOL
I'd say Marchand>Shaw>Kadri... I really like Marchand although he can be overly cocky and stupid
uhhhh what? Kadri is ten times the player Shaw is.
Shaw is actually good at hockey though. Kadri makes me cringe every time he is on the ice
Shaw is decent at best. For sure not worth what Zach is asking. He's worth a 2nd and a decent prospect. Kadri is an all-around player. And the Leafs 2nd line C for years to come. Everyone loves him here.

I'd say 3rd line C only because Bozak/Nylander will that role eventually
Which 1st rounder? And what prospect would be coming back my way?
LA 1st or NYR 1st and LA 2nd
You're choice of Wallmark, Moroz, Hultstrom, or Wesley
Yeah a top-10 pick that could change into a top-3 is overpayment for Shaw. I'm not super comfortable with the Rangers 1st alone honestly. Let me look into the prospects

Bozak? No. I watch the Leafs every day basically. Bozak gets carried offensively. He's not that good in general. He'll be moved probably in the next 3 years. Nylander, they are trying to move him there but we shall see. Kadri is the Leafs no.2 C by a mile.

Sorry, I didn't know LAs pick was top 10, didn't know they were that bad, LOL
I'd add one of those prospects to get the LA pick.

Come talk in the master thread... hate to clog up Zach's page here

I'm not very comfortable moving my top-10 pick as I'm looking to bring in a big defensive prospect my organization needs. How about Kevin Gravel or Nic Dowd and a pick? Gives you a younger player with NHL time under his belt

Not really interested in those players.
Would you do this?
Shaw and Ryan Murphy for either your LA pick, Merkley, or Stanley?

How close am I to one of the three I previously mentioned?
But I don't mind the sound of this.
I'm looking to hold onto Merkley to eventually take over my second line C/RW spot (depending on what Carter likes) and Stanley will be a key cog on my defense as soon as the 18-19 year. And my first is going to get a stud behind Buff for a season or two for now. I got plans with those pieces and will want a overpay to make me change my mind hha

I'd be good with Shaw and Murphy for NYR 1st and a 2017 3rd, how does that sound?

A 3rd added on seems to be a bit too much, how about the Islanders 4th?
Since you already have an expansion deal in place with Vegas and don't need to worry about protecting Dmen, would you want to do a swap of Shaw for one of Edler or Demers?

I see on your page you'd be willing to trade picks for someone to take Demers off your hands. I'm interested.

Picks would work too, although I'd like to get a forward back as well.
