Honestly think it's gotta be Caufield + a 1st for the Rangers to even think about moving Laf. He was their first overall pick just 16 months ago, and has barely got his feet wet in the NHL yet (22 goals in his first 102 games tho, not lighting the world on fire but showing some promise.) The Rangers were very lucky winning the lottery for Laf, considering they made it to the playoff bubble in 2020, so to just bail on that good fortune so soon wouldn't make a lot of sense - unless someone was offering them the moon. Caufield + a shot at a top 5 pick are where I'm starting the conversation if I'm Chris Drury.
