I know Fiala is pretty streaky, is the general feeling in MN that he's worth 8/58? that's a big hit for a 2nd liner

I don't follow the Wild as much as I'd like, but I'm just taking a guess what his next contract might look like...Perhaps the AAV could go down since in this hypothetical scenario he's signed for 8 years, but looking at other contract I'd imagine he'll at close, if not north of 7million/year.

I don't think Fiala would get 8mil AAV, I also believe that he won't sign an 8 year contract. I can see him signing a 4-6 year contract for around the 7-7.5mil range. I would be surprised if we got him under 7mil. When Boldy and Rossi are at their full potential, the 1st and 2nd lines are gonna be insane.
