I actually just did it to see if the cap space would work. But Compher and a draft pick or 2 would do it, this is if Giroux waives NMC for Colorado, if he wants to help Philly out, a prospect along with Compher and draft pick should do it. IMO.

Sakic will not move Newhook for Giroux, Newhook is a potential replacement for Kadri at Center. Avs have other prospects if that’s what Philly is after. Compher will have to go to make the cap space work.

Yeah offer will go up, I did the trade to see if this move would work cap wise. Compher and a prospect and pick or Picks should be enough, but if Giroux says he will only go to Avs then that makes things easier on Sakic and Avs. Depends on how much Giroux wants to help out Philly I guess.

For Philly's sake I hope it's not another hall situation. That guy cost BUF a ton in future by holding them to BOS. Though they were stupid enough to give him a full NMC.
