Very constructive comment, you got any ideas for a trade? Preferably to address atleast 2nd line center, and hopefully 1-2 pair LD? Without selling the entire future of the team especially with Bergeron future uncertain and no one close to a first line center to even think about replacing him?

I think the Bruins value Matty G more than Chiarot - there could be teeth to a Hoffman move, but the bruins were in on him in the past but he often plays the wing vs centre, so its not like the Bruins are filling the void on a D or 2nd line centre. Pretty sure Hoffman only has like 90 career face off attempts or wins over his career, so not entirely what I would call a bonified center on any line.

So when you look at it, like from the Bruins perspective, they are getting a D man they value less and an older winger with some scoring history. Doesn't really hit the mark for the Bruins needs.

You are correct with Hoffman, definitely not a legitimate center, obviously would much rather a Dvorak but sweeny missed that opportunity big time this off-season, and how much would he cost us now even if they willing to part with him, atleast a first and prospect like studs. But as far as Grez goes I’m on different page, but I agree with you that Boston thinks more of him, hometown boy can’t go wrong right, wrong, I understand the age difference scares some but figure we resign chariot, easy too pair with Mac or shut down 2nd with Carlo, for next 3 years and then it’s off to rebuild land if we can even stay afloat that long
