It's a video game...let's get that straight right off the bat here...I realize that with EA's trade engine, and the inability to control the league, you're going to get madness, and that realism is what you make it. Again, it's a video game.
-NYR: Let's start with this one. I've got Patrik Laine on the block. I haven't moved him yet, and am concidering moving him. Was deep into it last night, but the Rangers ended up declining due to their cap issues next year. There's other teams that are interested, but I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on a potential Laine return? A trade with a divisional rival will hurt.
NYI: Isles had some injuries on the left side of their D-core, and were looking to add. I've followed Raty for a while, and while I get that it's unrealistic that the Isles would move him so soon, I wanted him.
Detroit: I had to. Wings fans won't be happy, but Domi was a piece that I needed a return on. Winnipeg offered their 1st+3rd, but I really, really wanted Cossa.
Edmonton: I cheated a bit here...I signed Kane, left him in the minors, and added him to this trade when the money ended up working out. Not exactly an upgrade in net for the Oilers, but dumping $3ish mil allowed them to upgrade their lineup. I'm expecting the 2nd to be late.
I called your trade a clown trade. Because it is. Steve Yzerman didn't use his extra first round pick, trade up in the first round to draft a future stud goalie only to trade it for the often injured, underperforming and overpaid Max Domi.
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/contact-ea-help/ The title of the page "How to contact EA Help for support" made me chuckle a bit. I'd suggest emailing them, and telling them that Stevie Y got ripped in a video game off by a random guy on the internet, and that you're extremely upset by it. I'm absolutely positive that they'll go out of their way to improve their trade engine moving forward, as they've always been 100% driven by what the community is looking for.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
I'd suggest you continue whining like a baby but you already have that covered. I love the ignore feature. Cry more. 😭
