Halak has had a pretty good season, better than his stats show in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised to see him net a late 3rd depending on how many experienced net minders are available at the deadline.

If Casey DeSmith is being moved for cap purposes Vancouver might take him to fill their backup position for the remainder of the season. Otherwise I don't think they would have any interest in him as they currently have 3 AHL goalies, one of which could be called up for the remainder of the season if they were to trade Halak.

desmiths contract is up after the szn and ya he needs to be moved for cap purposes. demko is going to the games from here on out so i think this makes sense. sending a third wouldn't be too hard
