When Florida was reportedly considering trading away the no.1 overall pick as they wanted some wingers, and a slightly lower pick (8th for example) It was a shame we didn't move up, Lupul was coming off a huge year and we had a good pick. Man Ekblad would make our D way better.

Still happy with Nylander

I know but if the Leafs won the first overall pick in 2015 and took McDavid, they probably would not take Matthews first overall in 2016, opting for a winger instead. So instead of Marner/Matthews, they'd have McDavid/Laine.

No way thats true. They would take Matthews either way to have a Crosby/Malkin thing going on. You take the best player. ALWAYS

No way thats true. They would take Matthews either way to have a Crosby/Malkin thing going on. You take the best player. ALWAYS


Or they could have a Crosby/Ovi type.
