Sadly as much as I (and most Flyers fans) would like to see him gone, I could not find a feasible way to get rid of Andrew MacDonald. His contract was still too much to buy out, Vegas likely won't take him in the expansion draft, and it would be hard to trade him for a bag of pucks with his contract. I did include a Dale Weise buyout in this mock.

Don't like the Weise buyout, too many years left and why is Leier getting a raise? Weal probably gets close to $1-1.3M as a UFA, and Cousins isn't going to get in the 2's.. Chances are he'll be around PEBs money at similar term. Stolarz is a massive overpayment and Mase is not taking a pay cut. The roster is what I expect to see for the most part but the contracts are off by a lot on most people - except the Ghost deal is decent.

Weise has been playing with Couturier and Schenn recently and it has been going well. I would rather see a MacDonald buyout, since its only 1.83mil that is in dead cap space in three years from now, compared to 5mil in dead cap space for 3 more years.

You mean 1.83mil dead cap space for 6 years if you buyout MacDonald. Yes there are a couple players on this team that we would be better off without but we have the cap space to carry them for the next couple years wheather it'll be as a 13th forward or a 7th Dman while the youngsters are still on there ELC'S saving at least 2 years of dead cap space 4-6 years from now!
There won't be any buyouts this year or next year so please stop buying everyone out cos it won't happen!! We can always save 1mil in cap by sending them down to the minors.

glad someone understands that just because you buy him out doesnt mean he is done screwing the flyers over immediately. SIX YEARS OF AMAC IF WE BUY HIM OUT. NO THANKS!
