I don't know that Columbus would be willing to let go of Hofmann that easily. Trading Fabbri as a rental but then picking him back up in free agency looks like a bit of wishful thinking to me. The Chiarot signing I think is decent, but in think Vatrano will want more term and money than you are giving him. I could see Vatrano coming in the $3-3.5 million dollar range AAV pretty easily

Hope you understand that a deal that walks a player straight to UFA status is going to hurt that players trade value somewhat if the Wings were to try and flip him as a rental
