O'Reilly - Bergeron - Stone would be a filthy shutdown line. I think they should make that a line even though it would take him off Marchand's line

This is almost dead on to to what I think team Canada should look like (Assuming everyone is healthy)

The only player I didn't have on my list is Chabot, but if he can eat up big minutes at the Olympics I'm fine with him going

At the same time I didn't want to miss with the second line chemistry and Point is an amazing defensive centre IMO

I felt that putting Tavares back with Barzal would be nice and the line consists of a good shooter, an insanely speedy centre, and an amazing playmaker

Barzal is not making this team. Sure he's fast, but he's not having a great season, and Canada is deep at center. Heck, I'd even take Scheifele (who is having a bad season) over Barzal, for Scheifele's intangibles.

Chabot doesn't have a single goal this year, though he does eat up a lot of minutes. I think his stock is falling FAST. Look for Pelech or Toews to take his spot.

Hamilton isn't great at D (though not BAD), so he's a scratch. Ekblad is more dynamic and gets into the top six.

Why do you need so many offensive D men and PP QB's? Most likely the PP units will be 4F 1D so theres only 2 regular PP spots for the D core. Chabot, Makar, Rielly, Theodore, Hamilton, Pietrangelo are all PP QBs and most are offensive specialists. Taking guys like Toews/Pelech/Weegar over Rielly and Chabot would make for a much more balanced roster imo. You actually would have good shutdown defense for the PK and would still more than enough D men capable of running a PP unit

Id also put Ekblad in the top 6 over either of Hamilton or Pietrangelo on the right side
