You signed Wingels to a ridiculous contract, he got more then he deserved in his last contract already. Mironov will only cost 925K max too. (ELC)

LOL they regularly scratch Hanifin, but say no? They've already balked at Slavin, so I went a different route. But one thing is crystal clear after watching them twice in a short span: they need offense and desperately need a player like Duchene.

well, on Mironov, I'd expect he would need a certain amount to make it worthwhile. Maybe he won't, but the Avs can easily afford $3M. Same deal with Wingels, there's so much money it doesn't really matter. I do think the Avs sign a guy like him or Eaves, etc, especially if Vegas nabs Comeau. There's only so many rookies you can play at the same time.

I just got off the phone with Ron, he never said "No" to this. You're a phony, you're a big fat phony.

No I don't think you understand. Mironov can't get more then 925K either way because he'd be signing his ELC contract. He doesn't have a choice. He's still under the Avs rights. As for Wingels, yeah sure you can pay Andrighetto 5M this year if you really wanted to but its just a waste. At the end of the day its nit picking but its still valid criticism.

Didn't think it was invalid. And not up on weird ELC rules for KHL players, so thank you. I know older players sometimes sign ELCs for like one or two years, instead of the normal three. What type of term will Mironov get?
