well, on Mironov, I'd expect he would need a certain amount to make it worthwhile. Maybe he won't, but the Avs can easily afford $3M. Same deal with Wingels, there's so much money it doesn't really matter. I do think the Avs sign a guy like him or Eaves, etc, especially if Vegas nabs Comeau. There's only so many rookies you can play at the same time.

No I don't think you understand. Mironov can't get more then 925K either way because he'd be signing his ELC contract. He doesn't have a choice. He's still under the Avs rights. As for Wingels, yeah sure you can pay Andrighetto 5M this year if you really wanted to but its just a waste. At the end of the day its nit picking but its still valid criticism.
