Stolarz and Laughton have played a combined 6 Games thus far this season making their contract length and AAV higher (it should be under 1mil and for 2 years max). Mason's cap it is too high for a goaltender who is inconsistent. Lindblom is not NHL ready yet despite what he has done in the SHL. Dallas is trying to get rid of a tender since they have Kari and Neimi so why would they take another one?

If you think lindblom won't make the team you can't have seen him play this year. He has been the most dominant player in most games and lead his team when there star players been in a slump, if his teammates had kept pace with lindblom he would be top of the scorers table and have been the most productive and successful 20 year old in the league in recent history

Those trades are fairly arbitrary. Dallas would be taking Neuv. to replace the goalie(s) they move. Lindblom is here next year.
