as much as I hate Tampa, if Hertl doesn't come with an extension then I don't think you're gonna get a much better offer than that. Maybe TB drops the third and adds another second but that's a really good offer IMO.

Simply put Tampa doesn't have the goods to acquire great players without breaking up their core. I mean, we got a 1st for Goodrow who was a 4C at the TDL. Hertl is a top line C in his prime. Not happening

Listen I know sharks fans expect a kings ransom for hertl but your not getting one, no team is going to over pay for a 2 line foward and especially not one with a good draft pick as you keep saying. Either they accept one of Tampa’s trades or someone else in the leagues but your not giving a rental of this caliber to a team with a top 20 draft pick. He’s not Erik karlsson who you guys over payed for. Either take a little off what you want or you can see him walk out the doors to a good franchise in July
