Never know, those two Russians have mighty personalities, and well the money helps too. Dunno what the Pens will offer, just went after a free agent that’s still good and could sign on a 1 year deal. Bergy would never leave Boston so I went with Geno.

Guri is gonna get more than that. From what I’ve seen in preseason he’s ready for a breakout year and Bones is ready to trust him with minutes. That’s fine tho cuz I’d rather keep Pavs than sign Malkin and Pavs should hopefully be willing to take a little less

If that’s the case then go with Pavs instead of Geno. I can’t see him getting more than Robertson so maybe 4.5-4.75.

Tampa lost their best playoff line this past offseason. Colorado needs to show they can finish the job. Maybe I have my green glasses on.. maybe I’m just drunk on Benn and all of our main guys looking hungry, healthy, and ready to go.. Suter can still play, Peterson has done more than enough to push Comeau out of the lineup, Raffl and Glendening are upgrades on Kero and Gardner… I think it comes down to goaltending. Holtby and Dobby have both had promising games. This is a good team that’s built right

Buchnevich got 5.8 million which I can see being a good comparable if Guri has a strong year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see JRob bridge for 6+ after Pettersson got 7.35

Love me some Guri, but I really can’t see him being as good as Buch was this past season.

Instead of Malkin, I'd rather grab someone like Burakovsky for 4-5 years at $6-7M per year. Young enough player to fit in with Dallas' core moving forward & good enough to slot into a top-6 role immediately.

Looked at your "next two years" post. Don't sign Motte, run with Oettinger & Scheel as your 2 goalies, and let the cap increase cover the remaining $1-2M over the next couple of years. Gonna be tight, but there's enough money to do both.
