1.) You could likely get 7 years of Dahlin for 8 million, not 3. Yikes.
2.) Logan Brown has 1 goal, 8 assists in 30 games in the now 5 years since he was drafted. How is he getting 1.5 million dollars?
3.) Hagg and Pysyk will be in the line up

I'm not sure Dahlin would sign that long for only 8 mil when he could get more if he waited.
For brown, I'll be honest I just put a number. 1.5 isn't horrible considering how much cap space we have.
For Hagg and Pysyk, the new signings that I made (at least for me) pushes them out of the lineup.

You are also correct Bryson earned his spot in the line up, Hagg will be the 7th defenseman and with Vatanen and Pysyk, maybe the 8th.
Why do you make that trade with Ottawa?
Logan Brown was drafted the same year as Thompson as the 11th over all, he cannot find a spot in the Ottawa line up.
Krueger really messed up too many players and Thompson was one of them.
The Asplund - Mittelstadt - Thompson line was the Sabres best line the last 20 games of the season.
I may have a different line up but this is your team.
I like Vatanen but I would keep Thompson.

I figured that Logan has struggled to crack their lineup and thompson (barring the last 20 games of last year) has also struggled here, so if he were to start off slow again, maybe a change for both might be beneficial to both of them
