The name & logo is to honor Cheif Black Hawk. The Blackhawks also have donated to Native American-led initiatives, and the organization also informs fans about Native american causes, the name history, and Cheif Black Hawk's legacy. Also, no Native Americans I know are offended by the logo, including Fred Sasakamoose a former Blackhawks player. So quit assuming the Blackhawks logo is rascist without doing any research.

I’m not saying it’s racist, I’m just saying that having your logo be a specific person’s face is weird. I know very well the history of the Hawks name & logo.

I just find it weird that their logo is a guy who didn’t really have much to do with the team other than the owner being in an army group named after him. And the team has distanced themselves from him by changing their name from Black Hawks to Blackhawks. The whole thing is weird, and so is any logo that has a specific person’s face on it.
