The hurricanes havent messed with Necas like montreal did with KK...just bc you think throwing an OS at him will work...doesnt mean he wants one. Just like wiht Point in Tampa, he wasnt interested in monteals offer sheet either

And just like aho who also wasnt interested to play in mtl? Money is money and hockey is a bussiness! If you get offered 1mil more than your salary with about 20mil in bonus the first year are you going to say no to that? Btw where did you take that mtl did an OS to point??

Business is business you are right, but not ever player looks at OS the same way. Like I said Point wanted nothing to do with it...Necas could be the same. Makar was not interested in any, focued on his deal with the Avs. Aho was bc he didnt want a contract to drag out all summer and used the montreal offersheet to ensure he got his deal done quickly and able to focus on getting ready for camp all offseason.

In the end Montreal got used by Ahos camp, it had nothing to do with playing for them
