Hertl with extension?

I think the Rangers would want to extend him for what they give up here. Don't think it would be cheap though.

I cant see the Rangers giving up Krav, I think this would be Chytil and a 1st for Hertl. Its something I threw out there at the very beginning and still wouldnt be opposed to if it happened. The question is can the Rangers afford to resign both Zib and Hertl, as well as obviously Fox, Kakko and Krav without killing their cap when they have to resign LAF and Miller.

Hertl is worth more than Chytil and a late 1st. Kravstov is the obvious choice so rangers don't need to resign him next year.

I think a cheaper alternative for us would be Kadri who isn’t as good, but easier to fit with the other guys we need to sign. Plus we keep our young assets that way.

I'm not even sure if Kadri is on the market unless they find an upgrade. They'd be trying to move Kadri and a 1st for Zibanejad.
